A Visit with Granddad and Grandma Pat

My in-laws were going to be in the area last week and so they had some time to stop in and stay for a bit. Although Granddad had been out for a visit, Grandma Pat had not been able to come and the kids were sorry to have missed her. It worked out well that they were able to come for a couple days. The kids had a great time. They fought like cats and dogs (except my cats and dog don't fight-it's just the cats...)....they fought like cats and cats, drove me batty (and probably Granddad and Grandma Pat, too) and had such a good time. David forced Granddad to read more books on dinosaurs and Byron and Grandma Pat played endless games of...well, whatever those bear games were. I just know I can hardly stand to play them anymore. :P Ruth bossed everyone around, Grace pitched many fits, the baby screamed and I ran off to hide from it all for just a little bit. Don't we sound like such a fun family to visit!?
