Piano Lessons and Woes

I've complained numerous times to Amanda about our adventures in piano lessons. Now, there are two factors at play here in this drama. First is Ruth's inability to understand that you cannot do something perfect the very first time and second is my neglect to enforce practicing. I have changed my tune (so to speak) these last two weeks and things are going so much better. Yes, I still have to deal with the tears and the sobbing and the "I will never be able to play this right!" attitude, but all in all it's going better. I have noticed that Ruth tends to watch her fingers so much that she can easily memorize her music, but only by watching her fingers can she play. So, today I got creative and forced her to play the music with just the music. Enjoy the clip!
