Another Four Eyes
Yesterday was Ruth and David's well checks with the pediatrician. All in all, everything went well. At the end of the visit, our pediatrician informed me (laughing) that she had no worries about David's speech. For those of you not here on a regular basis, David will talk your ear off if you give him a chance.
Anyway, back to four eyes. Ruth had a vision test and she did worse on hers than Grace did just a few months ago. So, we have another appointment for the eye doc on Monday. Frankly, with her family history, we aren't that surprised. And, after talking with her on the way home, I have come to find that she has had trouble seeing things farther away. I was quizzing her about some of the signs that we passed and she could only read them if we were pretty close. (Just the letters, I mean, not the words-she doesn't read that well yet.) So, you shall probably be seeing a picture of Miss Ruth sporting a pair of spectacles.
