Nightly Bible Readings

When Chris and I do the Bible readings with the kids when they are little (and even up into early reading) we say a phrase and have the kids repeat it after us. Tonight, David was "reading" Acts 13 with Chris and Chris gave David the phrase "Harod the tetrarch" and David, very calmly said, "Harold, the dead shark...". I could hardly stop laughing. I didn't want to hurt the poor kid's feelings, but that one really made me smile.

I read this on facebook and literally LOL!! I think I gave the wrong child credit for "Joshua faught the Battle of Cherry Coke". It might have been Bobby. Funny no matter who coined it. I miss their childhood.... sometimes. :-)
