Well, She is Gone

Miss A has gone home. This is so hard. The court did not grant her mother custody, though. According to Miss A's social worker, they did not file the motion to return in time. So, she will be going home as an "extended visit" and the foster system will maintain custody for the next month until they go back to court. But, as far as we are concerned, as her foster parents, she is home for good.
