Summer Science Fest at McKinley Museum

We were greeted in the foyer by the robot.

The kids take turns making the robot "talk"

The Massillon Geological and Gem Society was there, too.  We had to drag David away from them-he could have stayed there all night.

The view from the monument-we took the monument basement tour.  There wasn't much to see in the basement (much to my dismay) but the tour guide gave us some really great history of the museum, the monument and McKinley himself.  It was well worth it.

What science evening is complete without dry ice?

Add dry ice to water and dishsoap?  Instant fun and bubbles that smoke when you pop them.

Sampling a little ice cream made with dry ice.  It was...different.  Like fizzy vanilla ice cream.

3 kids, 2 seats.  You do the math.
