This year, instead of camping in the wilds on Canada for our summer Bible school, we tried a new location: Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. The kids had a blast and made new friends as was evidenced by the variety of kids that joined our table for lunch each day. They are already planning to go back next year.

| Byron, David and Charity. Charity was David's favorite new friend. The first day they met he said, "Let's be friends." She countered with, "Maybe tomorrow." But, David wasn't daunted and we saw a lot of Charity that week, too. She had lunch with us at least once and I realized at that point that she was like a female version of David. Her conversation absolutely cracked.me.up. |
