The Dentist Visit

Yesterday found me visiting the dentist with the three kids in tow. They were really good, too. The dentist had a corner with a box of books and toys so the kids were content to just sit on the floor and play while I had my teeth cleaned. Afterwards, I had the dentist take a peek in David's mouth. He had a tooth that I was concerned about. It seemed like it had a pretty deep hole and I had trouble getting food out of it when I brushed his teeth. So, the Dr had David sit on my lap. She said to him "Will you let me look at your teeth?" to which David replied "Can I have a toothbrush?". Then, the Dr said "If I give you a toothbrush, will you let me look at your teeth?". At that, David's mouth dropped open and he sat there like that until she was done. My little boy is already learning how to bargain for what he wants!
