On Monday, we bundled everyone up and headed to the Dallas Zoo. The kids were excited to go since our own local zoo isn't very large and we've been there enough times that it's no longer exciting. This was a welcome diversion since the kids tend to go all crazy when we visit people. It's like they stop being the civilized human beings I know they can be and become crazy neanderthals. Perhaps, the more likely scenario is that I've become immune to their wildness in the comfort of my own home and suddenly they just seem.so.loud when we're staying with someone else. Yeah...it's more likely that. So, a day at the zoo seemed like a grand idea.

| We watched as the elephant broke off the bottom of the tree trunk and moved it over to the rock (outside the right side of the picture) put it up on the rock and left it. Just a little redecorating elephant style. |

| And the kids were given some lettuce to feed to the giraffes. It was hilarious to hear the kids squeal as giant tongues wrapped around their fingers. |
