Early Mother's Day

Last Saturday, the girls had Jr. CYC.  They attend every other Saturday for a few hours.  The day opens with a class, then lunch and finally an activity of some sort.  Sometimes the activities are strictly fun and other times they are service activities, usually for someone in the meeting.  When they came home, they were curiously silent about what they had been doing.  When I asked Grace, she merely whispered, "I'm not allowed to tell.  It's a surprise."  So I waited.  Sunday morning, they presented me with my surprise.

Grace's hand: Translation-Dear Mom, Thank you for letting me be homeschooled.  I love you.  You are the best teacher.  Your eggys are very, very, very, very, very, very good.  You are very good at cribbage and frisbee golf Wii.  Your rain drop bread is tasty...very, very, very, very, very tasty.

Ruth's hand: Translation-Dear Mom, Thank you for taking such good care of me.  I love you always no matter what I say.  You're a very, very, very good teacher and cook.  Your spaghetti is very yummy.  I love your nose...it is very pretty.  Your eyes are very, very, very, very, very beautiful.  You make very good Indian flatbread.

Chris and I had a good giggle about my nose and eyes.  I'm just happy that the Naan seemed to be such a success.
