Beowulf Finished

This morning I finished reading Beowulf to the kids. It was such a great story, full of monsters and dragons. David was hooked from start to finish and requested that we buy a copy of the book so I could read it to them again. Here is the version we read, in case anyone is ever interested in a light read. Anyway, we got to the end (*SPOILER ALERT!) and I had to stop reading half a dozen times because I thought I was going to cry when Beowulf died. I told the kids that, and David said, "It's ok, Mama. People live. People die. That's how it is." Thanks, son, for your sympathy.
